Alaska Achievers Blog Hop - Share What You Love

Welcome to another blog hop  brought to you by achievers of the Alaska Cruise with Stampin' Up! This month we are focusing on the wonderful "Share What You Love" suite that can be purchased ahead of the launch of the new Annual Catalogue. There is so much variety in these bundles, the papers are gorgeous, the stamp sets are versatile  and they have been designed to suit crafters on 3 levels:
See the details of each bundle in the links below and make your choice! Of course I had to have it all!

JUST GETTING STARTED - a bundle for the novice stamper
A LITTLE MORE PLEASE  - for stampers who already have some supplies
and
GOTTA HAVE IT ALL - for those who want the option to create a huge variety of items.

I've used the LOVELY FLORAL Embossing Folder for my card today. Actually I've made a couple of cards with the folder, using slightly different techniques, but you'll have to come back in a couple of days to see the next one.

The Lovely Floral embossing folder is part of the Gotta Have It All bundle and is a wonderful addition to your collection. I've combined it with emboss resist using gold embossing powder and Brusho water colour crystals. The idea was to create something a little serendipitous and I love the results with the rich colours.

To achieve this effect, I blotted Versamark ink directly onto the inside front of the folder, ran a piece of water colour paper through the Big Shot, then sprinkled gold embossing powder over the surface. This was heated to melt the embossing powder, leaving the raised floral image white. I used water-colour paper for the base, and this added a little more texture.

Next I sprinkled red, blue and yellow Brusho onto select areas, and spritzed the surface with water, dabbing excess water and adding more Brusho powder as needed.  This is such a fun artistic way to play with these products.

My completed card:

Petal Passion Memories and More Cards

Today I'm sharing a very quick card made from one of the images from the Petal Passion Memories and More card kit. This is a fabulous kit that has many stylish images ready for you to use as they come, or add extra stamping and embellishments to create a stepped up card.

The images vary, but mainly come in black and white. Sometimes you'll find some Powder Pink used too. This limited colour range gives you incredible scope to create a wonderful variety of cards. I have combined the floral image with Silver Glimmer paper, Basic Black card and Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on a Thick White card base.
So quick and simple!

I finished the card with some Vintage Crochet Trim - a bargain on the Clearance Rack, and a little silver cord.  A simple greeting and a tiny heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes and the card is complete.

I love this card and I really love how quick it was to make. If you would like to order any of the products mentioned, simply follow the links throughout the post. You'll see pictures and all the information about price. Order on-line and don't forget to use the code to be in the running to win a Stampin' Up! shopping spree.

Hi everyone,
Today I'm joining with some of my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friends in a blog hop that showcases the early release "Share What You Love" suite.
I have a couple of quick cards for you today and they are made using the awesome "Gotta Have It All Bundle" that is an early release from Stampin' Up!
You as customers, can purchase a bundle to suit your stamping needs, as there are 3 different bundles.

Here is a peak at the cards made using the beautiful Designer Series Papers that are part of "Gotta Have It All" bundle.

Did you notice the freebies in each bundle?

Now let's have a look at this video for more information on the bundles and the free product you get with each bundle.
You just need to choose the bundle that best suits your needs depending on whether you are a novice or experienced stamper.
We cater for crafters of all abilities and experience!

You can order your chosen Bundle on-line and it will be sent straight to your home in just a few days.
If you wish to be in the draw for free product at the end of the month, simply add the Host Code FX4XN3HR to your order.
I've included one of the lovely pearl surfaced doilies, some vellum that has been heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder, and one of the versatile greeting stamps from the "Love What You Do" stamp set. And isn't the Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon scrumptious?

The detail photo shows the vellum adhered over the Pearl  doily showing the gorgeous paper through some interesting shapes.

The Designer Series Paper Pack has 24 sheets of beautiful paper some of which includes pearl shimmer accents. The paper is heavy weight and therefor perfect for making boxes as well as card bases. The papers help you create quick but awesome cards.
Here is another sample.

This card uses one of our new colours in 2018 -19: Mint Macaron. I've combined it with another Stampin' Up! stamp set: "Garden in Bloom", and the "Statement of the Heart" single stamp.

Best Birds in a Box Card

It's been a while between posts, but at a recent class we made this box card and I based my decoration on the Best Birds bundle from Stampin' Up!

I had lots of fun with this one - it is a great card fold and you can make any style card for any occasion. I thought the birds went really well with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack.

It's a good idea to check that your design looks good when the card is flat as that is the first view your recipient will see.
I combined the Best Birds stamp set with some retired stamps for the greetings.
This is how the card looks when it is opened and set up.

The images have all been stamped with Archival Black ink, then coloured with classic inks and an Aqua Painter. I worked on Thick A4 Whisper White card to give the shapes more strength and then cut them all out using the coordinating framelits. Then I added some shreddie in a natural colour to indicate a nest.

The close up view shows the wonderful colour variations   that can be achieved with a quick application of water colour.

If you would like to purchase any of the products you can access my On-Line store via the images below.
